ŽivaGin® wins gold medal at Frankfurt International Trophy 2026
We are very pleased to announce that ŽivaGin, a product of Blackmill Distillery, has been awarded with the gold medal at the Frankfurt International Trophy 2026.
The organiser of the competition said at the time of the award:
"Congratulations. The following product has received an award by Frankfurt International Trophy 2026."
This officially makes ŽivaGin one of the award-winning products of this year's edition of the competition.
The Frankfurt International Trophy is one of the major and internationally renowned competitions for wines, beers, spirits and olive oils. At the 2026 edition, 3,367 samples from 47 countries were judged:
- 2,149 samples took part in the wine section,
- 452 samples in the beer part,
- 709 samples in the spirits category,
- 57 samples in the olive oils category.
A total of 451 tasters from all over the world took part in the evaluation, which was carried out using a blind tasting system to ensure neutrality, professionalism and comparability of results.
The Gold Medal for ŽivaGin represents an important international endorsement of its quality, balanced aromatic profile and carefully managed distillation process. The award reinforces the visibility of Blackmill Distillery and its focus on consistent, responsible and quality distillate production.
